Cloud and IaaS/SaaS hosting
A server in the office means looking after hardware, cooling, power and a replacement every five years. In our cloud you get the same server as a service: in Slovenia or Germany, with backups, 24/7 monitoring and a monthly invoice with no investment. We have been an IaaS and SaaS provider since 2017, and as a Microsoft SPLA partner we can bill Windows and SQL Server licences monthly. The big public clouds are not always the right choice: where data location, predictable costs and a person you can call matter, a cloud in Slovenia or Germany is the better route. Where it makes sense, we connect it with Microsoft 365 and Azure into a hybrid solution.

Frequently asked questions
Where is our data stored?
In Slovenia or Germany, your choice: in a data centre in Slovenia or in the Sonextis data centre in Germany, whose core network we built. Backups are at a separate location and the data never leaves the EU, which matters for GDPR, NIS2 and customers who require it in their contracts.
Is your cloud cheaper than the public cloud?
For continuously running servers with a lot of data usually yes, because we do not charge for data transfer and every single operation. For short-lived or strongly fluctuating loads the public cloud can be cheaper; that is why our costing compares both options.
What about Windows and SQL Server licences?
As a Microsoft SPLA partner we provide them and bill monthly by actual use. Nothing has to be bought, and when you scale down the invoice goes down too. Your own licences can be transferred where Microsoft's rules allow it.
What happens in an outage?
The servers run on redundant hardware; on a failure they restart automatically on another host. For a major disaster we keep backups at a separate location and an agreed recovery time that we test regularly.
Can we keep some systems on-premises?
Yes, that is the hybrid cloud: production systems or large files stay on-premises while application and e-mail servers move to the cloud. We join everything into one network with single sign-on, so the user does not notice the difference.
How long does the migration take?
A single server is moved over one weekend, a company with ten servers and an ERP in four to eight weeks in steps. The inventory and cost comparison are ready in one to two weeks.
